Always a great experience!

I've bought Studio Licensing and done a few trainings now; Barreintensity is consistently excellent, though I wish there were payment plans for certifications.

Really liked the training

I signed up for the Virtual Instructor Training a few weeks ago. I was a bit nervous about doing it all online, but it went really smoothly. The videos were clear and the instructor explained everything well. It was super convenient to do from home. I felt like I learned a lot and now I'm ready to teach. Definitely a good choice for me.

Decent training, slow shipping

I purchased the Comprehensive Instructor Training along with a Barre Equipment Bundle. The training content was thorough and well-explained, I felt prepared for the exam. However, the equipment bundle took nearly two weeks to arrive, which was a bit frustrating as I wanted to start practicing right away. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the delay, but it still took longer than expected. Overall, good value for the training, but shipping could be faster.

Consistent quality, reliable

This was my third time getting continuing education credits from Barre Intensity, this time I did a CEC Workshop. As usual, the content was relevant and high quality. I've always found their programs to be reliable and well-structured, which is why I keep coming back for my renewals. They maintain a consistent standard, which is important for staying current in the field. The materials were easy to access online, just like my previous courses. No surprises, just solid training.

Loved the Prenatal training!

I just finished the Prenatal and Postnatal Instructor Training and it was fantastic! The information was so detailed and practical, I learned a ton. The instructors were amazing and made everything easy to understand. I feel so much more confident teaching this population now. I am absolutely going to enroll in more of their advanced courses. This was a truly excellent program!

Just wondering if Barre Intensity is generally considered better than Barre3 for instructor training? Trying to decide between the two.

D David L. 1 month ago
I haven't done Barre3's training, but I found BI's really comprehensive, especially the anatomy part. Felt well-prepared afterwards.

From what I hear, Barre3 is more specific to their own brand/method, while BI gives you a broader foundation that you can apply to different studio styles. Just my two cents.

Thinking of signing up for Barre Intensity Now. How's the video library? Is it a good variety of classes or does it get repetitive?

P Priya 1 month ago
It's pretty good, I've had it for a few months. They add new stuff regularly so it doesn't get stale. Lots of different instructors too.

I find it really useful for choreo ideas. There's a decent amount there, especially if you're looking for different styles and skill levels.

Hey everyone, thinking about getting certified with Barre Intensity. How long does the online training usually take to finish? I'm trying to plan it around my current work schedule.

T Tara 2 months ago
It really depends on your pace. I did the comprehensive one last year and spread it out over about 6 weeks, maybe 5-10 hours a week.

Totally doable. My friend just did the essentials course and knocked it out in like 2-3 weeks, studying pretty hard on weekends.

Does Barre Intensity offer payment plans for their certifications? I'm super interested but paying upfront is a bit steep right now.

C Colin B. 2 months ago
I think they do, or at least they did when I signed up a year ago. Might be worth checking their site or giving them a call.

Yep, I used one for the comprehensive course. Made it much more manageable financially. Pretty sure it was through a third-party service they link to.

Is the Barre Intensity certification actually recognized? Like, will gyms actually hire me with this, or should I look at something like NASM instead?

M Mike Kim 2 months ago
It's definitely recognized in the barre world. Most studios I've worked with know it. They are also AFAA approved if that helps.

W Wendy 2 months ago
Yeah, I got hired at my local studio with it, no problem. It's not like a general personal training cert like NASM, but for barre specifically, it's solid.
